Now that it is accepted that empty space is all that exists in the universe it follows that energy must come from the movement of empty space. Considering how large the universe is that is a vast amount of energy. Random motion of course forms nothing, but collisions produce spin. Now we have permanent units in their trillions. Non stop spin pulls or sucks more empty space to it for ever and this is what we know and feel is gravity. Visualising a tiny shaft of empty space retaining power for billions of years and miles is difficult. It may help to see it when you realise that 14 billion atoms of carbon fit on a full stop. So you can understand why new gravity is the cause of the redshift. I.E. loss of frequency in light from distant stars not receding motion that needs a source of power only explicable from imagination not known data. There is no need for this invention since it is obvious that there is no expansion of the universe it has always existed at the current size .
